I was definitely surprised by how powerful this massager is, considering it's rechargeable and not plug-in. It took me a second to figure out how to put it on, but now that you have my picture, you can skip that step :) The massager's little arms are reasonably powerful. Out of the box, I got about 15-20 minutes on a full charge, which is about what I expected. It probably could have been longer if the heat setting was turned off. Note: when you turn it on, the heat automatically turns on. I learned that the hard way too. Also, if you're wondering if you can use this on other areas (lower back, thighs, etc.), you definitely can. Overall, I'm very pleased with this accessory and will keep it handy. I highly recommend it.

This is a fantastic unit. I've had messaging units before, but they weren't as effective as this one. While my current massager is effective on the neck, it doesn't reach that tension point in the back. This one does. And it does it powerfully. They really did a great job designing this unit. The massager is covered in beautiful stitched faux leather! I imagine there are zippers here for battery replacement. It has a mode setting. It alternates between forward and reverse, forward only, and an intermittent setting. The heat setting has 3 levels. Also 3 speed settings. You can press this massager quite hard on your back without getting bogged down. It's also quiet. What good would a massager be if it was too loud? If you come home at night after a stressful day, this unit is for you. I'm very pleased.

I ordered this brand even though there were cheaper options. I wanted something that would really help me, and I believe you get what you pay for. I received it as soon as I opened it, fully charged. The pressure is great, stronger than many massage therapists I've seen. If you lean back into the massager, it will apply pressure until you lean back, which is great if you're trying to work out a knot and want to maintain pressure. I have a knot above my shoulder blade and on the side of it, near my spinal cord. This massager targets the neck, but if you're leaning against the headboard, you can move it down your back, and it feels great. It gave me a lot of relief and much more pressure than a deep tissue massage. I normally pay $120 for a massage, but I'm so grateful I spent $99.99 on this massager and can use it whenever I want without ever paying that much again. Definitely buy it!

There have been several shiatsu-type massagers that I have tried in the past and felt that they were just a little bit too rough for me to effectively use for therapeutic relief. I feel differently about this massager. They describe this as “six 5D massage heads” being utilized. I’m not knowledgeable enough about shiatsu massagers to understand the details of what this means, but it does feel better, and more natural than what I have used in the past. Also, it contours nicely so that I can just place it under my neck and lean back in my office chair and let it do its work. The fact that it is cordless makes it that much better. I wish that the control mechanism were attached to a longer cord so that I could actually see the control buttons when I press them. This is applicable even more with regard to the heating function, where also it would be helpful if there were some kind of indicator light showing that the heat was on, and at what intensity. But otherwise, this is a very useful device for me.
